Haul from smoochiezz! Essie, China Glaze and NYX!

As promised, my haul post! So recently I've made a trip down to the 

Smoochiezz warehouse to get my bi-weekly nail polish fix and I managed to pick up some NYX stuff as well. Here's what I've got:

CG nail polishes in wagon trail and sunset sail (L-R)
Essie Nail polishes in Brooch the Subject, Turquoise and Caicos,
Going Incognito, Mesmerize, Go Overboard, and Armed and Ready (L-R)
NYX Round Lipsticks in Tea Rose and Milan, NYX HD Wand Concealer in C04
NYX 10 eyeshadow palette in Haute Model.

pretty sure the bad lighting is annoying and makes this almost un-see-able

SOOOOOO, next up, the spotlight is cast on my new baby. (I have a thing for eyeshadow palettes, really, see my previous post)

NYX Haute Model Palette from the Runway collection

This palette features 10 glamorous eyeshadow colors that are suitable for... Well, for a dark eye look buff like me, anything. But if you're not one to wear dark eyeshadow out normally, this would be a great palette for a girl's night out or perhaps a really hot date. Just sayin' ;)

The shades are actually blackened colors, which I can't really describe right now, so you'll have to look at the swatches below.

So below are the swatches, The first color from the left is a blackened gold, next a blackened purple, a light pink, a blackened green and lastly a gunmetal color... so I guess that makes it a blackened silver. Anyway, from the picture above, you can see a huge difference in the colors, like you can make out the purple, the green, the dark blue and the gold from the top left. But when swatched, they are immensely black, it's like as though they're all matte blacks laced with tonnes of purple shimmer or blue shimmer or green shimmer... You get what I mean...

Overall, despite it being such a dark palette, I do like these. They are dark but they still have that distinct difference, the swatches definitely don't do it justice! For the price of SGD 15, you can't really go wrong or go over budget for a palette like that! This is definitely HIGHLY recommended! Not an A for me though, I don't really like the packaging because it's glossy and I just hate leaving fingerprints really. But the pigmentation and quality of the shadows are awesome! So far when it comes to eyeshadow palettes, this little baby definitely can't take over Sleek and Christian Dior, just my little 2cents!
