Hey y'all! It's a pretty tuesday today, cloudy day. Very depressing, but I like it. I thought that It'd be nice to share with you guys what I made yesterday.
Salted Caramel Macarons!
You have no idea how much effort it takes to make these finicky cookies. Out of all that went into the oven, about half of them were successful. Still, the results are satisfying.
Sadly, I've finished munching on them. On the bright side, because I had to throw away a bunch of failed macaron shells, I still have lots of leftover salted caramel filling. I'm on a salted caramel kick recently so that's always a plus.
Oh the calories... Joy, joy.
I love macarons. More than cake, and that is something.
This is an awfully short post, I've been horribly uninspired these few days. Sorry for that.

Oh well, since we're on the topic of baked goodies, what is your favourite baked dessert? LET IT BE MACARONS! I kid! :)
