Covet London Nail Polishes are now available at Luxola! New nail polish brand for me to explore!

I have to be honest, when I first started collecting nail polish, I was an O.P.I freak. I refused to get any other brand other than O.P.I. I'm serious. One day, I don't know what came over me and I bought a bunch of nail polishes from China Glaze and BHAM! The obsession with collecting starts. Now whenever I learn of a brand that I've never heard of, my hands start to itch and my wallet starts to weep. That;s probably why it wasn't the best idea for me to learn of indie nail polish brands. I'm now a certified nail polish junkie.

Back to the good stuff.

So Covet London, the price is on the higher end, but hey, I've always been a firm believer of 'You get what you've paid for' thanks to my multiple bad experiences with nail polishes from The Face Shop. Just a personal preference though.

Covet London, a British luxury non-toxic nail lacquer brand, has officially announced its debut in Asia!  What they claim  "A new innovation that merges science with nature, Covet London's formula is free from harmful substances and consists of up to 85% natural ingredients derived from minerals, citrus fruits, wood pulp, cotton and mushroom. The natural, botanical-based formula preserves the vitality of natural nails and is suitable for sensitive skin, pregnant women and kids. Each bottle is hand-filled and encased in tempered eco-friendly Italian glass from reusable materials. Covet London is manufactured in France and the United States. The range is “5-free” and meets all EU protective laws for cosmetics. All colors are FDA approved." The debut collection consists of 20 sophisticated shades inspired by couture and culture; from provocative fire-truck red “Confidence” to edgy metallic gunmetal grey with silver flecks “Chrome Tuxedo”. Also available from the brand, a UV-protective top coat, ridge-filling nail silk and strengthening nail serum infused with biotin, calcium and ginseng extract.  One thing that I do want to mention is that because they are a new brand, it's almost impossible to get any swatches of the colors on the net. I depend heavily on internet swatches when shopping for nail polishes so that's a downer. I plan on buying 3 bottles but I'm extremely undecided on what to get...

 Anyway, to commemorate the launch, Covet London has released an Asia-exclusive colour, a metallic burgundy-red infused with copper and rose gold dust, aptly named “8” to signify prosperity and good luck.

Covet London is available at  Luxola starting February 2013 and is a Luxola online exclusivity for Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, and Philippines.

Here's something to note, and the reason why I want to get 3 bottles.

Better take advantage of this introductory promotion if you want to try this brand out! Like I said, it is on the pricy side, so now's a good time to get them!
