Newbies of the Week! + My not-so-lazy Friday

Good Friday to you too!

I'm wondering if I should do a weekly newbies of the week because let's face it, how can I ever go through a week without buying some new products of any sort! Here's what I've bought over the course of this week. Super excited to try out all these. :)

What I've bought:

-Garnier Pure Active Facial Cleanser

-Organic Surge's Tropical Bergamot Shower Gel. HOLY CRAP, this smells SO GOOD I really just couldn't pass it up even though it was pretty pricey for the amount of product we'd get. I really love the scent of bergamot, so anything bergamot is an absolute yes!

-Rexona antiperspirant

-Zoya nail polish in Blair (I'm named Blair how can I pass this up too?)

-5 new Sleek products which I will do a separate post on once I've received my 2 other e/s palette that I've ordered about 3 days ago.

I bought the shower gel, facial cleanser, and antiperspirant yesterday while trying to shop for travel sized toiletries for my school trip to Malacca coming Monday. Chanced upon this shower gel, took a whiff and I fell in love. Does it even look remotely travel sized to you? Nope, but it smells way too good for me to pass.

I figured it wouldn't be an issue since we're travelling by coach so I got it. The packaging is super gorgeous by the way, I just really like how it looks. This is pretty pricey though, costing $14.95 for just 250ml, but like I said, it smells great!

Well, that's basically what I bought this week, and you probably know by now that I'm supposed to be packing for my trip but guess what? I haven't even packed. Awesome!

I was just lazing on my bed, writing in my diary, and trying to write a checklist for what I should bring for the trip. I think I did a pretty good job planning, and it just about ends there...

And here's my mess of a bed.

In case you were wondering, yes there are two picture frames missing from the wall... There's supposedly a frame with yellow and a frame with green next to the red and blue one, but I always kick it off the nail when I'm sleeping so I got frustrated with it. Any ideas on how to keep them in place? I'd really love to know! I also want to fill that empty space by my pillows with another framed picture the size of the big painting on the left, but I don't know what I should hang there... Hmmm, definitely needs my attention.

Yeah, the messy collage on the noticeboard... I know, but hey it looks pretty cool! I think.

My mess of my table because I'm just busy trying to charge all of my electronic devices and cables are just everywhere!

My duffel bag, which happens to be very empty. Hah, no surprise there. Fellow procrastinators unite! Tomorrow...

Just to finish up the whole 'let me show you how and where I live' thing. Here's a general overview of my very masculine looking room. Everything is pretty much made of wood and it isn't painted any other colour than WOOD colour.

My sister and I share a room and we desperately want to paint our room purple and black. Remember the wall next to my bed with the pictures hanging? Yeah, that's the wall that I want painted black.

Oh well, I shall just sign off with a picture of my current lazy-mani (where I only do one nail). Here's my attempt at this drip nail at kind of thing!

What do ya think? Decent? I'm seriously contemplating doing the 31 day nail challenge, seems fun!

I should stop typing now, lest I start rambling.

Have a great weekend ahead! I know I will, distributing flyers at cineleisure with my friends, while wearing a sandwich board (not literally a sandwich, in case you were wondering). It'll be an interesting weekend for me ;)
