Almost time for term break. Finally. + some nail polishes n' stuff

I'm finding it extremely funny that I'm actually trying to blog right now instead of trying to complete my News Writing assignment that's due tomorrow.

It's technically due on Friday but I don't have any lessons on Friday and I'm too lazy to go back to school just to submit my assignment.

The assignments are just never-ending... Makes year 1 seem like a walk in the park. Now it's like walking in water. You can feel the resistance and everything seems to be slowing you down. THAT WAS SUCH A BAD ANALOGY BUT I LOVE IT.

Since I've been M.I.A for so long, I really should explain myself.

1. As you all know, I am schooling. I have assignments. That's pretty self-explanatory.

2. Borderlands 2 was on sale on Steam about 2 weeks ago. I could not pass that up. I have since spent about 43 hours on that game. I have to admit that I am loving the mechromancer class so much.

3...

Wait, there is no number 3. I'm pretty sure those 2 reasons that I've mentioned have been taking up most of my time.

I officially have no life.

OH, well, I managed to go about 6 weeks without buying any nail at all. NONE. That  was until 2 days ago I finally caved in after all that stress and bought some. By some I mean 3 bottles.

From left to right: Honey Ryder, Vesper, Live and Let Die

Vesper looks a whole lot like skyfall from the skyfall collection in this picture. I swear it is much more purplish in real life.

Honey Ryder and Vesper are from the Bond Girls collection while Live and Let Die is from the Skyfall collection. I didn't realise that they're all from Bond related collections until 2 seconds ago when I typed it out.

No swatches and I KNOW it's been donkey years ago since I've posted a SOTD post. I'm so sorry for that but it'll be a while until I post another one. :( Probably when my term break is here.

I also bought my first MAC blush ever, because you know how ridiculously priced MAC products are in Singapore. I bought it from smoochiezz though because I can never justify paying over $30, I think it retails for $35 but don't quote me on it, on a blush (when I can spend more than 60 on a Chanel one, pffft. Makes no sense).

Anyway I spent only $20 on it which is good, seeing that a l'oreal one costs about 18.90 or something like that.

MAC sheertone blush in 'Pinch Me'

Blended out on the left.

I actually really really like it and it should be safe to say that I'm looking to buy more (just not at the MAC store itself). I just don't know what to get. I really need to make another trip to smoochiezz soon.

The thing is, I happen to have the kind of face that naturally reddens very extremely easily, so blushes really make me feel like a tomato or something ridiculously red like that. Yet I just cannot stop buying them. I used to buy a lot of really bright and red ones but that was such a mistake. Sigh we were all 14 once.

I feel old now because I don't really experiment with much color anymore and to be totally honest I couldn't care less if I didn't wear any makeup too school. The weather is just too darn ridiculous for me to endure having anything on my face. I still put on concealer on my bad days (because it's a saviour when the assignments start piling up and the nights aren't meant for sleep anymore) and I've managed to find a new concealer that is just plain awesome.

The time balm concealer from theBalm

I think this retails for $29.90 at SaSa, they usually have discounts but I was too desperate for a new concealer. The fact that many online reviews raved about this does not help at all.

The texture of it feels like the Some kind of goegeous foundation faker from Benefit (I hated that stuff, it smelled so gnarly and it felt like oil on the skin), with it melting when you pick up the product. I am bad at describing textures. Okay it's like a lipstick, or chapstick, when you apply it the body heat slightly melts the product.

Moving on. The coverage is freaking amazing. Like oh my god it is THEBALM (bomb, balm see what I did there? No? Alright...). It is my best friend if I ever have to sacrifice my sleep for assignments, I swear to God. It is amazing and my dark eye circles are really really horrible.

I'll probably end this post of with a picture of myself, (from photobooth because I really really don't have anything better to do) this si the first time I'm doing this.

This is me getting bored with work at night and deciding to pretend to be a model

And this is me being me.
Pfft, a picture? More like pictures.

Yes, I dyed my hair!  I love it so much but it has since faded from that brilliant red to an orange. I still really really like it though.

Have a great week ahead! :D
