Golden Globes Part 2 - Luxola Beauty Trend Report

Good Thursday to everyone! I hope y'all have had a great week so far! I'm down with a bad case of sniffles but it's nothing too major!

Right, so a few weeks ago I've shared with you part 1 of the Golden Globes beauty trends where I wrote about the nail trends and some eye makeup trends. Today will be part 2/2 of the trend report! YAY!

This post will talk about one more eye makeup trend and lip color trends, so let's get started! That sounds like a really peppy cheerleader trying to get her team ready or something. Geez.

EYES

One of the more unusual trends luxola spotted was blue, in particular blue eyeshadow. Really, how often do you see people with blue eyeshadow? It looks kind of awkward really, but it actually works really well on both Nicole Richie and Kerry Washington. Surprise, surprise.

 Nicole went for a soft, frosty pale blue and Kerry chose a more midnight purple hue. Yes this is a quirky choice but it's actually pretty nice! So go on beauties, be brave and try it out yourself! Of course you need the perfect weapon to get the look:

LIPS

Statement Lips were a hot look at the Golden Globes, with Jessica Alba’s pop of tangerine lip colour making it to the top of the best make up list.

Miranda Kerr, she is so pretty! *SPAZZING OUT* Anyway, her lips are gorgeous here! I love deep red lips so this was pretty fun when it comes to finding suitable colours
