(Another) Sleek Haul + Swatches of Ultra Mattes & Sparkle 2

Hey y'all! Hope y'all have had a great day! As you can tell from the title, it's going to be another haul post with massive photo spam. So excited to play around with these I can't even contain my excitement.

Basically I came back to a bunch of packages waiting for me and like I've mentioned before, I've made an order from Sleek.

Here's what I got from them. I'll most probably blog about my indie polish haul sometime tomorrow or the day after. I love to swatch stuff, but it's just so time consuming! If anyone wants to use my pictures, please feel free to do so, but bear in mind to link it back to my blog thank you! It really takes a lot of time and effort to do up those swatches!

Enough of my daily jabber, here's what I've got. I made 2 separate orders, the first one has:

2 Flick It Liquid Felt Tip Liners
2 Glossed Lipglosses
1 True Colour Lipstick

I don't have the swatches for the liners and lip glosses because there really isn't much to show. Just ordinary black and blue liners and the glosses, yeah they're glosses. However I do have a swatch of the lipstick because I really really like that one. It's one of their newer shades, 'Russian Roulette', it's matte too, score!

It's slightly darker than it looks on camera. These pictures were taken quite some time ago, back when I didn't have my current samsung camera and was using my olympus one, so it doesn't pick up color quite as well as my current camera. Sorry for that. But other than it looking slightly lighter than it really is in the tube, the swatch is pretty dead on.

Gorgeous ain't it? Mad love.

That's it for the first order, the second just contains 2 items. iDivine e/s palettes in Sparkle 2 and Ultra Mattes V2. Yes, I have swatches for these, in case you were wondering.

I really like the new packaging -as in the print on the packaging is different not that the shape or size is any different- compared to the old one where the whole cover is covered with the word 'Sleek'. It looks nicer like this, very minimalistic. Plus, I like that they got rid of the waffle print on the eyeshadows and changed it to a smooth surface instead. The waffle print makes the palettes look like they come from some kiddy barbie makeup set or something equally cheap.

Looks much better right now. Anyway, let's move on to the swatches. First up, the Ultra Mattes Darks palette.

Top row (L-R): Orbit, Ink, Highness
Bottom Row (L-R): Thunder, Maple, Flesh

Bottom Row (L-R): Thunder, Maple, Flesh (which you can't really see)

Top row (L-R): Noir, Dune, Pillow Talk
Bottom Row (L-R): Paper Bag, Villan, Fern

Next up, the limited edition sparkle 2 palette, released for the holidays. I know, I know, I'm late to jump on the whole sparkle 2 craze, but I wasn't that sure I wanted it because of all the glitter. I'm glad I got it though, these are amazing.

Top row (L-R): Chocolate Penny, Blue Spruce, Mulled Wine
Bottom Row (L-R): Festive, Gold Ribbon, Glitz & Glamour

A picture to show you how much glitter there is in each swatch, seeing as the previous picture doesn't really show the glitter that well. This isn't exactly perfect but it does a fairly great job in showing the glitters.

Top row (L-R): Truffle, Mistletoe, Illusion
Bottom Row (L-R): Tinsel, Twinkle, Starry Night

Bottom Row (L-R): Tinsel, Twinkle, Starry Night

Once again, another picture to show the glitters. Though I'm not sure this is of any extra help... Perhaps this next one will be better.

Here's a close up swatch of illusion, look at that glitter bomb. This palette sure lives up to its name.

Bear in mind that all these are swatched without a base or primer, so expect them to be more pigmented if you're using any base/primer. As usual, amazing color payoff from sleek eyeshadows! Although the first 6 colours from the sparkle 2 palette didn't swatch as well as the rest... Oh well, it'll have to do for now, I'm sure I can work with it.

That's all for my sleek haul, I guess the pictures speak for themselves. By the way, have I ever mentioned that I love my new camera? I like how I'm finally able to get relatively close up shots of products now. So so glad that I bought that camera! So well, looks like I'm back to my daily mundane routine. I'm actually thinking of learning Latin now... Hmmm... It should be fun.

Well, hope you've enjoyed the swatches and have a great weekend ahead! Hang in there it's already Thursday! ;)

xoxo
