China Fashion Week Fall 2013 - Luxola Beauty Trend Report

Beautiful Sunday afternoon isn't it? Granted that my version of 'Beautiful' means cloudy skies and strong winds. I've had really good night's sleep that lasted for about 11 hours and ended with me waking up to a terrible runny nose. Nonetheless, I still have something mindblowingly amazing to share with you all.

Yes, what better to talk about than the amazing eye looks seen at the Mercedes Benz China Fashion Week. The boldness, the fusion, the perfect blend of traditional oriental and futuristic styles. Along with  strikingly pretty models of course.

China is definitely a country to watch these days for style. The China Fashion Week Fall 2013 dazzled us with head turning designs. But what really caught our attention was the crazy eye makeup, or in this case, deserves to be called runway art. It's such a pity to pick as they're all beautiful in their own way, but we must. That's why we’re highlighting the best 3 from Mao Geping’s MPGIN Make-Up Styling Collection.

Clockwork Wheels

I think of all the looks, this has to be my absolute favourite. It's feels very steampunk-ish to me, a style that I absolutely adore. Be it in games, fashion or any design for that matter. It's hard to replicate the look exactly and I'm pretty sure we won't be sporting all that metallic accessory goodness to school or the workplace anytime soon, but here's what you can use to recreate the eye look!

It has a lot of warm tones to it, I'd really recommend Sleek's iDivine in Au Naturel or Urban Decay Naked palette for this look. Not the Naked 2 because it isn't nearly as warm as the first one. For a slight twist to it, try Sleek's iDivine in Bad Girl to give it that cooler tone and more metallic effect.

 Bride of Frankenstein

I absolutely love this look too, very frosty and edgy, like an ethereal ice queen gone wild or something (With the stud eyebrows ya know). Sleek's iDivine in Supreme and some Paperself Lashes ought to do the trick!

Sci-Fi Chic

This looks like it has a hint of military style to it, hmm, maybe it's just me! I really like the strong double winged liner and the cut crease against all that purple. Plus, it has more metallic accents, what's not to love? To get the look, may I suggest using Sleek's iDivine in Ultra Mattes V2 Darks and the Sparkle 2 palette.

I really like the first picture so much perhaps I'll use it as my background image! Hah!

I'm just sitting around waiting for some leftover shepherd's pie to heat up, so hungry right now I can't even function properly. Have a great Sunday! Enjoy it while it lasts! ;)
